Well, we hope you all are having a great new year!

It's that time of year once again to get all of you updated on the 2004 Bisbee's tournament schedule, and remind you all that the earlier you get into any of our Baja events, the more chances you'll have to fish for free due to our "Early Bird" program.

Before getting into this year's general information, we must first offer up a huge congratulations to the 2003 Black & Blue's winning team of the "QUE SERA", captained by Cabo's own Nayo Winkler who helped angler Brady Bunte from Laguna Niguel CA, along with fellow team mates David Finkelstein from Houston TX and David Kohler from Laguna Niguel CA capture a 565 lb. Blue Marlin worth a world record purse for a blue marlin of $1,165,230.00!

ONWARD:
The dates for this year's Black & Blue will be October 19th - 23rd, this is our normal week for presenting the tournament, and Cabo does get busy then, so be sure to book your air, hotel and boat as soon as possible! The Dates for each of the Offshore Circuit events are August 3rd – 7th in East Cape, and October 15th – 19th in Cabo. Our La Paz dates are yet to be determined. Our Cabo host resort for this year will be contracted shortly and we'll be sure to get their contact and angler discount information on our www.bisbees.com web-site as soon as possible.

EARLY BIRD ENTRY DRAWING:
The entry fees for the Black & Blue will remain the same at $5,000. per team, and $2,000. per team for the Release Division, with the optional "Daily Jackpot" categories being $200. per day, and/or $500. per day, and/or $1,000. per day, and/or $2,000. per day. We will again be offering an "Early Bird" drawing between all of the teams that have entered by August 1, 2004. The drawing's winning team gets their $5,000.00 entry fee back. The same is possible for all of the Baja Offshore Circuit tournaments where the team entry of $1,200. will be returned. We will be drawing the Early Bird winner at each Awards Banquet. Remember, for every month prior to the event that you enter, you will receive an additional "chip" that will be placed into the drawing. So, if you enter the Black & Blue for example, in February, (7 months prior to the 8/1/04 deadline) your name will be entered into the drawing 7 times versus just one! The earlier you get your entry in, the more chances you will have to fish for free.

SHIP YOUR BOAT TO CABO FROM MIAMI ON THE BISBEE'S EXPRESS:
For those of you on the East Coast, and would like to fish our tournaments with your own boat and crew, it's now easier than you may think. Yacht Path International (http://www.yachtpath.com/), an exclusive yacht transport firm, will again be loading boats in late summer to deliver yachts in excess of 100 ft. in length directly to Cabo from Miami aboard the "Bisbee's Express". Last year's delivery brought 7 yachts with 7 fully satisfied owners to our events, so if you're on the fence about it, give them a call! Your yacht will be loaded by the most experienced loadmasters in the industry, and delivered "fish ready" (no need to remove rigging, towers etc.) aboard a modern, fully equipped heavy lift cargo ship. NEW FUN STUFF:
It's too early just yet to give you all of the details, but we're continuing last year's trend of adding new activities to the tournaments to heighten your enjoyment at our functions including more great bands. We're exploring new ideas to "spice up" our parties and awards celebrations, and as soon as its wrapped up, we'll be sure to let you know.
