<p>At the Awards banquet held on the A.P.I. Cruise Ship Pier in Cabo San Lucas Saturday Night. Wayne Bisbee announced that for the second time in Black and Blues forty-two-year history. There would be three checks handed out exceeding ONE MILLION DOLLARS totaling $7,387,925 of the <strong>$11,651,300</strong> the largest amount prize money ever offered in a Sportfishing Tournament!</p>
<p>Those awards went to the following:</p>

<p><strong>Third Place Honors</strong> went<strong> </strong>to<strong> Team R.V. Rentals</strong> for the <strong>344-pound Blue Marlin, </strong>which was caught by <strong>Michael Ciardullo</strong> on board <strong>"Vida Loca,"</strong> which earned his team <strong>$1,590,975.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Team Happy Ending #208</strong> with Angler Gary Bailey; Owner<strong> owner of the boat, "Happy Ending," </strong> and Angler Dion Beckner; Angler Laurie Beckner; Angler Kevin Burke; Captain Juan Francisco Cessena; Angler Roy Creager; Angler Ryan Latour; Angler Omar Conteras Nunez; and Angler/Mate Jim Willis. They arrived at the scale with a <strong>Black Marlin </strong>caught by <strong> Dion Beckner</strong> in 2 hours and 22 minutes which came in <strong>Second Place</strong>, with a check for <strong>$2,533,250.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Team EL MEXICANO,</strong> with Angler Adrian Ponce de Leon on board the "<strong>EL MEXICANO,"</strong> landed <strong>a 461-pound Blue Marlin </strong>on the <strong>Third Day</strong>. This earned him and his team, Angler Adrian Glief Cervantes and Angler Francisco Garcia Rodrigues, <strong>the highest amount</strong> of the event, <strong>$3,263,700.</strong></p>

<p>The entire Bisbee team looks forward to seeing everyone in 2023 to celebrate the 43<sup>rd</sup> Anniversary of Bisbee Tournaments. He reminded everyone, "Life is short, so dream big; enjoy the adventure <em>and</em> the journey. </p>
