On Friday, August 2, 2o24, the East Cape Offshore fleet crowded the Start Line as Wayne Bisbee
counted down the final seconds until the start &ndash;&ldquo;TEN, NINE, EIGHT, SEVEN, SIX, FIVE, FOUR,
THREE, TWO, ONE,&rdquo; and the roar of the fleet&rsquo;s engines going full throttle was deafening! Most of
&nbsp;the fleet headed south again in search of the winning fish. There were plenty of Jackpots to
compete for.&nbsp;
Reports of released fish kept Axel Valdez and his teammate, Jill Christensen, busy as they fielded
&nbsp;the radio and cell phone calls throughout the day.
&nbsp;
By late afternoon, there had been zero Black Marlin, 29 Blue Marlin, 1 dorado, 17 Sailfish, 0 Spearfish,
30 Striped Marlin and 5 Yellowfin Tuna for a catch of 82 for the day.
