The first day of fishing in the Bisbee's Costa Rica Offshore was spicy hot. 

The fleet is set to compete for more than $2.14 million in the inaugural Bisbee's Costa Rica Offshore Tournament.

The top three teams in the 2025 Black & Blue all won well over $1 million in prize money.

Coming from behind on the last day, Magic Touch edged into first place by two pounds with a 459-pound blue. 

Rising Sons/Magnifico jumped into the lead with a 457-pound blue on the second day of competition. 

Team Another Line is the first to weigh a qualifying marlin, a 389-pound blue on Day One

The 2025 Bisbee's Black & Blue kicks off Wednesday with nearly $7.4 million on the line.

Felipe Valdez and the Boys

At 2:53 p.m. on Day One, the radio crackled to life. Felipe Valdez on Team Zorah reported they had hooked a huge Billfish and their location was approximately 40 miles south.

Their battle continued throughout the afternoon, with the Weigh Station receiving periodic updates until the "lines out" was called at 7:00 p.m. Soon after, the Team called in that they had the giant fish alongside and were attempting to get it into the boat.
