Bisbee's is heading to Magdalena Bay. For the first time, Bisbee's brings a tournament to the legendary waters of Mag Bay, one of the world's premier billfish destinations and home to an extraordinary striped marlin fishery. With it comes an entirely new way to compete.

Bisbee's Mag Bay Mania is a fully virtual, all-release billfish tournament. There's no fixed schedule: teams have the entire month of November and pick any three fishing days between November 1 and 30, 2026. The days don't have to be in a row, and you don't have to choose them when you register. Fish back-to-back, take the weekends, or wait out the weather and go when conditions are right. In Mag Bay, timing makes all the difference, and choosing when to fish is part of the strategy.

Every Release Counts

Every verified release of a striped, blue or black marlin, sailfish or spearfish is worth 100 points. Teams record each release on video, showing the boat's GPS location, date and time, and submit it through the CatchStat app or website. Fishing takes place within 50 nautical miles of Magdalena Bay, and results post to a live leaderboard throughout the month.

Entry & Jackpots

• Base Entry (mandatory): $2,500 per team. 70% of base entry fees is paid to the top three teams overall, split 50/30/20.
• Overall Winner-Take-All (optional): $3,000 and $5,000
• Daily Jackpots (optional): $500, $1,000 or $2,000 per day, entered for all three of a team's days ($1,500 / $3,000 / $6,000). 85% goes back to the winners.

Daily Jackpots follow each team's own Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3, whatever the calendar date. A team fishing November 4 and a team fishing November 12 are both competing for the same Day 1 jackpot.

• Video Upload Deadline: 8:00 p.m. local time on each fishing day

There's no in-person registration or captains meeting. Registration, day selection, video submission and scoring are all handled through CatchStat.
