Final day of the 2024 Bisbee East Cape Offshore Tournament

<p>On Friday, August 2, 2o24, the East Cape Offshore fleet crowded the Start Line as Wayne Bisbee</p>
<p>counted down the final seconds until the start –“TEN, NINE, EIGHT, SEVEN, SIX, FIVE, FOUR,</p>
<p>THREE, TWO, ONE,” and the roar of the fleet’s engines going full throttle was deafening! Most of</p>
<p> the fleet headed south again in search of the winning fish. There were plenty of Jackpots to</p>
<p>compete for. </p>
<p>Reports of released fish kept Axel Valdez and his teammate, Jill Christensen, busy as they fielded</p>
<p> the radio and cell phone calls throughout the day.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>By late afternoon, there had been zero Black Marlin, 29 Blue Marlin, 1 dorado, 17 Sailfish, 0 Spearfish,</p>
<p>30 Striped Marlin and 5 Yellowfin Tuna for a catch of 82 for the day.</p>
